Dark Horses and Fuse have teamed up to bring together the excitement of following your favorite football team across the country with the thrills of Nissan’s all-electric Nissan Ariya. In this creative, famous Manchester City fans and beloved sports stars surprise viewers with their appearances on electric football away days.
Each episode, hosted by TV Sports Presenter Craig Mitch, is based on the destination of the trip and the personalities of the special guests. Viewers get a snapshot into the famous passengers’ football lives as they share their conversation, jokes, and stories.
The creative features Craig smoothly cruising in the all-electric Nissan Ariya, accompanied by his celebrity guests on the journey to an away game. He asks them about their love for City, predictions for the game, memories of their own away days, and their thoughts on driving the new Ariya. The first episode here stars former football player Joleon Lescott and former world champion boxer Ricky Hatton, with future episodes featuring some of the UK’s most celebrated former footballers.
The work brings to life the football pilgrimage that thousands of football fans make every Saturday, to demonstrate just how far the Nissan Ariya can go, and also how much fun it can be to drive. With its e-4orce technology and durability fans can travel hundreds of miles without the need to plug-in.
The series launches on YouTube and digital channels April 24th, with two more episodes to follow.
